A nice pub with lovely beer garden next to the canal. Friendly locals add to the fun. I've not had a bad pint here. Food is pretty good too. Don't know about the accommodation side of things but if they can feed and water you it's a good start.
This is a very good value for money hotel, the room was very clean, spacious with a comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I had some food and a couple of cocktails during my stay all of which I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Oxford area. I will definitely stay again next time I'm in the area.

This is a great place, lovely atmosphere, nice decoration (great photos from known artists) , upmarket setting. Has a wood oven which makes a feature and is used to cook delicious food, specially pizzas. There's also an extensive menu with great quality food. I had beef and was delicious. Service very good. Prices are a bit higher than average. Recommend it 100%
Delicious food and imaginative varied menu, with the servers attentive and quick. Unfortunately accoustics absolutely horrific on a busy evening in the restaurant. It would be sensible for the pub to get some advice on how to absorb the sound so that diners can hear each other across the table. More fabric?

The owner greeted my friends and I at the front of the property. He was very helpful and pleasent. The property was nice, clean and new with comfortable beds with towels and fridge provided. We had a fan in the room which we was greatful for as there was 3 of us sharing the room. Easy access to the main town by bus.
Excellent standard of room. Landlord very friendly and helpful. Location very convenient

Quite new to Kidlington and the menu looked OK so we took my visiting mum. Turns out it is friendly, good value and a generally great place to hang out. We enjoyed the food and the staff bent over backwards to help. Definitely taking other visiting relatives in the future.
This pub is where I met most of my friends when I first moved to Kidlington. It has changed a number of times since then (14 years ago) but still has a place in my heart. Great people, good beer and good food.

Wear smart casual to this pub. Lots of tables to enjoy a meal at. A bit more upperclass than the pub in the village. Food are tasty and reasonably priced. Reservations may be required during the busy times. For more info and contact details see their web site.
Great country pub, went on a Sunday and the roast is excellent generous portions and very tasty. Been here a few times and always busy, recommend booking if more than 2 people.

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Ideally located and I recommend the Red Lion pub in Islip; excellent food. We stayed here with 2 large dogs and the bridle path alongside the camp is good for walking. We stayed overlooking the ponies and pigs and felt very relaxed by it all. I just wish the restaurant had been advertised a little better in order to know if it was opened or not. Great place.
Very nice site. Clean and tidy. Swimming pool quiet most of the time. Bar opening times are posted as this is a small site so can't operate the bar like a large site. Managers very friendly and will help you willingly. Toilets clean and kept that way.
